Any Health Issues Arise with Medical Transcription Carrier?

  • A recent study reaffirms that a sedentary life increases your risk of diseases like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity.
  • As medical transcriptionists need to sit for prolonged time, it may cause back problems and spine issues.
  • Continuous exposure to headphones may cause hearing loss or partial deafness.

Is Boom of Medical Transcription is History?

  • When it initially started in 90s, it was like go to field for many job seekers, but it didn't lost long and hit rock bottom in 2001.
  • But since 2004, the sector has slowly but steadily worked its way up, again showing way to many job seekers, generating  revenue worth $195 million in 2006.
  • When so many voices raised against the MT sector in USA during crisis, there was again confusion started about the field's survival, but they could not stop the growth of sector in India.
  • MT field is always dying field in general due to constant rumours of voice recognition system, electronic health record system, etc., but as a machine always need human, MTs surviving.
  • But what now....is MTs carrier depends on someones' decision, they are not secured? If you ask that, I should say, yes.   Whenever there is an issue comes about MTs in USA, here MTs started to think about their options as Marketing Executives, Govt Jobs, Business, etc., but will do the same, forget if issue closes and do the same jobs as doing for so many days.

But in my view, MTs carrier is always depends on luck, never know what happens, so better to settle in other carrier before you pass your age to change.

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”  ― Eric Roth.
